Axient is currently seeking an ICBM Guidance Navigation & ControlTest & Evaluation Engineerto support our customer at Hill AFB, Utah, with predominant work location at Hill AFB, UT. This position is to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force.

Axient is currently seeking an ICBM Guidance Navigation & ControlTest & Evaluation Engineerto support our customer at Hill AFB, Utah, with predominant work location at Hill AFB, UT. This position is to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force.
Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide technical engineering support to the Air Force Sentinel ICBM Lead Developmental Test & Evaluation Organization (LDTO).
- Support Sentinel and/or Minuteman III developmental test efforts to assess performance against stated program requirements.
- Perform independent technical assessment and analysis of proposed GNC and related missile subsystem testing and test plans.
- Participate with cross-cutting engineering groups to support a holistic assessment of the weapon system development.
- Support use of digital engineering applications in T&E of the weapon system.
- Lead and mentor junior team members as assigned.
- Support periodic reviews of test support and systems integration test results and test plan status.
- Provide technical support and advocate integrated approaches of engineering efforts and support of test activities for which existing guidelines may not be available or applicable.
Qualifications

- Must have an ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of experience that includes guidance, Navigation & Control test and evaluation is desired.
- Experience with inertial navigation instruments is highly desired.
- Experience in working with DoD organizations, test organizations and/or prime contractors is desired.
- Familiarity with Test & Evaluation planning and processes consistent with DoD acquisition directives and policies is highly desired.
- Familiarity with test conduct, data analysis/evaluation, modeling and simulation, technical report preparation, and administrative aspects of ground and flight test programs is highly desired.
- Familiarity with ICBM weapon systems and related subsystems/equipment, their projected use in the military, and methods of testing is desired.
- Able to support hybrid work schedule - taking initiative to maintain communications with teammates and able to work in-office as job requires.
- Focused adherence to safety and security requirements.
- Must be willing to travel up to 15%.
