SOA Architect, Design, develop and support enterprise IBM SOA with J2EE based platform and suite of applications. You will be responsible to conduct software analysis, programming, code review testing, and debugging, as well as recommending changes to improve the established processes. Transform requirements into technical specifications and trouble shoot production issues. Provide assistance to work center support personnel for all types of errors occurring on service orders. Collaborate across the portfolios with different teams to implement the projects successfully and identify issues when interfacing with these applications.
Detailed skill description:
• Experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines including: enterprise or solution architecture, application development, middleware, data integration, SOA and cloud.
• Knowledge of security standards, SSO, messaging standards, integration patterns/protocols and databases.
• Hands-on experience in implementing solutions based on micro services and containerization is preferred.
• Experience in implementing solutions using API Management Platforms. Knowledge of IBM API Connect is a plus.
• Experience working with agile development teams, methodologies and toolsets.
• Ability to make buy/build recommendation and product choices.
• Experience designing application deployments on public (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud setup is a plus.
• Experience integrating SaaS solutions (salesforce.com, workday) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data, analytics, AI, Client, and RPA domains is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills with ability to effectively communicate solution recommendations and influence key stakeholders.
• Three or more years of experience migrating enterprise applications to AWS with PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
• Three or more years of experience with Angular, Angular 6, Struts.
• Experience with IBM MQ, JMS.
• Experience with Telecom Industry, OSS stack
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Client team to drive the projects\issues to closure
• Working closely with solution architects, infrastructure, and security and engineering teams to design solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Providing architectural oversight for the assigned technology portfolio or domains.
• Provides and evaluates technical strategies and solutions for the enterprise to use.
• Designing reusable components and services that can be leveraged by agile teams to improve velocity.
• Creates and updates reference architecture patterns. Participate in the architectural governance process to ensure enterprise standards are met.
• Being accountable for the decisions you propose and be a thought leader in their implementation.
• Understand the technology vision and moving the assigned technology domains forward.
