It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States, unless otherwise specified in the job posting. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
Summary of The Job:
The Architect, FNTS provides the necessary leadership, facilitation, analysis and designs related to the development of an enterprise technical architecture that ensures the success of enterprise-level technology rollouts. This role is also accountable to provide guidance which ensures the reliability, interoperability and sustainability of the technology and information solutions FNTS adopts. This role works closely with Information Security, Technology Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers, FNTS leadership and as needed with customers.
About This Role:
FNTS is now Hiring a Mainframe Architect
The Mainframe Architect provides the necessary leadership, facilitation, analysis and designs related to the development of an enterprise technical architecture that ensures the success of enterprise-level technology rollouts.
This role is accountable to provide guidance which ensures the reliability, interoperability and sustainability of the technology and information solutions FNTS adopts. This role works closely with Information Security, Technology Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers, FNTS leadership and as needed with customers.
Duties may include:
Providing technology consulting and solutions development
Leading technology planning, strategy and road map work
Developing technology standards, policy and governance
Complex technology support and optimization
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Extensive IBM Mainframe experience
Experience leading the discovery and due diligence sessions with customers helping provide solutions.
Architect and create migration strategies resulting in efficient and effective migrations of customer workloads.
Degree:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
10 years of IBM Mainframe Experience
5 years of Architecture experience and designing solutions working with Mainframes and related systems
