This position is responsible for maintaining the IBM iSeries computing environment utilized throughout the company, including but not limited to: implementing program changes, system upgrades and processing daily electronic orders.

General Description
This position is responsible for maintaining the IBM iSeries computing environment utilized throughout the company, including but not limited to: implementing program changes, system upgrades and processing daily electronic orders.
Principle Responsibilities
- Support current business applications within the ERP platform and functionality (ERP, EDI, Integrations).
- Evaluate and implement system configurations of the IBM iSeries hardware and software and MAC-PAC ERP application for companywide utilization, including Sales, Engineering, Operations, Distribution and Production environments.
- Analyze system to determine the configuration that best satisfies business needs. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot for problem resolution.
- Configure code based on program specifications, implement client requirements, troubleshoot, and debug systems, develop workarounds, modify existing programs, and provide maintenance for applications.
- Research and recommend design changes and system improvements considering customization and upgrades from previous years.
- Be an effective team-player. Interact and work cross-functionally with all MDI departments.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area and maintain equipment in proper working condition.
- All other duties as assigned by Management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to interact with employees and vendors to foster a positive work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- RPG programming, with MAC-PAC ERP software experience a plus.
- EDI experience, particularly with Cleo, desired.
- Familiar with SQL, HTTP, XML and various other languages and protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid Driver’s License
