What You Will Do:
- Responsible for attending any required training and following all procedures/processes/policies within ABS-QE for management of clients, management of a home-based office, use of ABS-QE equipment and communication both internal and external to the organization.
- Responsible for following the training plan developed by the Global Competency Program to reach assessor status and then Lead assessor status through the prescribed program.
- Working with Client Service Representatives for contacting clients and scheduling the visits in collaboration with Client Service Representatives, planning the assessments, making travel plans, conducting the assessments, and reporting and managing the results.
- Perform 3rd party Integrated onsite audits for North America customers.
- Responsible for leading teams, when necessary, and mentoring and coaching new or inexperienced colleagues as needed to meet the business needs.
- Schedule and plan audit activity with customers.
- Interact directly with customers at all levels of management in developing accurate reports regarding the implementation and maintenance of their management system.
- Provide timely and accurate reviews of audit results, corrective actions, and closures.
- Participate in additional training based on future business needs. Any other assignments as needed to meet assessment delivery business objectives.
- Reviews quality manuals and associated documentation for compliance with requirements and applicable codes and/or standards.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering plus 4 years’ experience in Petroleum and or Chemical Manufacturing industries is required.
- At least 10 years’ industry work experience in lieu of degree with at least 4 of the 10 years of experience in Petroleum and/or Chemical industry
- Current Lead Auditor certification in any combination (minimum EHS) of QMS (9001), EMS (14001), OHSAS (18001) and/or ISO 45001required.
- Qualified according to ISO/IEC 17021 and the relevant accreditation body rule to perform ISO 9001 audits.
- Has conducted at least 6 ISO 9001 3rd party audits in the manufacturing industries, with at least 3 as an audit team leader. (automotive 1st or 2nd party system auditing experience).
- Knowledge of automotive core tools.
- Has 4 years full time appropriate practical experience including 2 years dedicated to Quality Assurance and/or Quality Management activities in the past 10 years in an organization meeting the applicability of ITAF 16949.
