General Description

Generate, coordinate, diligence, supervise and implement effective strategies to improve the dealership's mission. Procedures and processes of parts, services and sales centered on customer satisfaction. With the purpose of promoting the customer experience and increasing the profitability and income of distributors while ensuring that the brand's current guidelines are being applied. This position is responsible for having the capacity to continue improving the capacity of processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the distributor of the Hyundai brand to implement effective strategies
  • Improves customer experience during service and sales processes
  • Responsible for evaluating and improving the general operating processes of the dealership
  • Identify gaps, expected impact and risks
  • Enumerate priorities to manage high/imminent risk situations that require immediate attention
  • Responsible for improving highly complex commercial negotiations using methodologies that include Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA and DMAIC.
  • Lead the workshop and manage the dealership project, including mapping the value flow, daily management, work standards, problem solving, design, material flow, 5S (classify, organize, clarify, standardize, maintain) and visual administration.
  • Responsible for ensuring that commercial improvement projects are completed to program and deliver commercial benefits that include tangible financial savings, improving security, reducing commercial risk and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Develop continuous improvement plans/route plans for projects and areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain a general understanding of process capacity and capacity
  • Report on the progress of the project, understanding the risks, dependencies, assumptions, resources, problems, critical objectives and upcoming projects, and the necessary actions to guarantee success.
  • Responsible for standardizing the documentation of processes and the best continues.
  • Continuously evaluate the distributor to ensure that the brand's current guidelines are maintained in good condition and provide follow-up to ensure that the areas that require corrections are corrected (Standard evaluation of the Sales/Service distributor) and carry out an action plan to comply with the Hyundai guidelines.
  • Supervise existing key performance indicators and develop other new agreements with the improvement process.
  • Prepares monthly reports on key performance indicators of the dealership for use and for the benefit of the dealership's Senior Management.
  • Ensure that the dealership's staff is providing appropriate follow-up to customer satisfaction surveys (SSI/CSI)
  • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and capable of advancing projects independently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • 2 years of experience in improvement processes and service processes
  • 4 years of Project Management experience
  • Master Kaizen, Lean Fundamentals, Six Sigma or similar certifications are essential
  • Knowledge of SAP, CDK, a plus
  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
  • Must have a high level of creativity
  • Dexterity and verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization and structure skills
  • Detail oriented
