JOB SUMMARY: HydroVac Technician will assist the HydroVac Operator on customer sites and will operate HydroVac units to perform excavation activates with pipeline, construction, utility and oilfield work.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- On-the-job training offered
Qualifications Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Customer service and team oriented
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must always work safely
- Must work safely at all times and follow safely policies
- Must pass any and all drug screening including randoms
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Supplying a safe, effective, and professional service to our clients.
- Rigging equipment in and out.
- Staging equipment.
- Completing tasks associated with daylighting excavation, trenching, bell hole and shoring.
- Completing all required paperwork daily.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to wear required PPE as assigned by HS&E Manager at all times
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work extended hours if needed
- Ability to travel as needed, including out-of-state travel
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather (hot, cold, ice, rain, etc.)
