Hydroponic Farm Hand

Part-time position (10-30 hours) with shifts preferred on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday

Urban Greens is an indoor Hydroponic Farm with the mission of supplying our Twin Cities community with a year-round supply of clean, quality herbs - encouraging our neighbors to eat real, fresh food that is good for them. We’re looking for a team member to help the business grow! The Hydroponic Farm Hand will support routine farm activities such as harvesting, packing, cleaning, and other farm tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Harvest herbs from the hydroponic system
• Pack herbs for our grocery store customers
• Support routine operation and maintenance of the hydroponic system - activities may include seeding, transplanting, cleaning, basic system maintenance
• Follow Food Safety practices

Additional considerations:

• The work is not physically strenuous, but it is active - you'll be on your feet most of the time with moderate lifting, bending, and reaching.
• No farming experience is required. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to learn, good attention to detail, and an ability to work efficiently with their hands.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
