Form of work JOB SUMMARY:
The Hydro Excavation Technician will assist the Operator in rigging up/down a Hydrovac Truck. Must be a self- motivated individual with strong work ethics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Adhere to company policies.
- Set up/ break down of equipment
- Operate high pressure wand for excavation and vacuum system.
- Inspect job site for any safety concerns or hazards.
- Keep immediate supervisor/manager aware of any issues or problems in the field.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience is a must! 1 to 2 years HydroVac experience recommended.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Customer service and team oriented
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must work safely at all times.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening.
Requirements
- Must be able to wear required PPE as assigned by HS&E Manager.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Work extended hours if needed.
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather.
