Job Description
Specialty welding and fabrication shop seeking motivated, self-starter for shop and field work. Working for a service-oriented company, you will help provide our customers with both on and off-site industrial hydraulic, pneumatic, repair and field service requests.
Knowledge of hydraulics is necessary, industrial hydraulics preferred. Strong self-management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills desired. Leadership, and the ability to run a crew highly desired. Experience with fabrication and layout, building hydraulic power units, installation, and field service, as well as other mechanical systems. Ability to read hydraulic schematics is essential. Candidate must be experienced using a welder, cutting torch, lathe, milling machine and proficient in the use of all shop tools. Welding certifications desired. Ability to weld out position, layout, welding and hanging of hydraulic pipe proficiently and accurately is highly desired. Willingness to travel, sometimes out of state is necessary. For field work (travel) we will provide transportation, pay for travel time, provide a single occupancy hotel room (no double-ups) and $45/day meal allowance. There is additional field pay ($5-$7/hour) upon successful completion of your probationary period and a positive performance review.
