YOUR DAY-DAY WILL INCLUDE:
- Development and operation of Water/Wastewater hydraulic models
- Support planning projects with analysis and reports
- Coordinate with design teams to support infrastructure sizing and configuration decisions
- Manage project tasks to maintain deliverable schedules
- Occasional travel between M&C offices to support growth and project needs.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with either a NC or FL PE registration or ability to quickly acquire both through reciprocity.
- 5 years of experience in water and wastewater Hydraulic Modeling required. Experience with WaterGEMS and/or InfoWorks is preferred.
- Knowledge of GIS and demonstrated experience in GIS integration for model development.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and knowledgeable of standard engineering design programs.
- Strong computer skills and experience with modeling programs.
- Computer programming (Python) knowledge is not required but is favorable.
- Have proficient knowledge of modeling in utility design including water and wastewater systems and good understanding of current rules and regulations associated with civil design elements.
- A valid Driver’s License and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
- Very good presentation, technical writing, and public speaking skills with outstanding experience in major business development efforts.
- An excellent grasp of the Water/Wastewater field along with leadership, team building and communication abilities.
