HVAC Installation Technician

$20 - $26/hr. BOE
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of existing HVAC systems to identify and address issues.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including identifying and fixing electrical and mechanical issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining system operations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC technical school or apprenticeship program is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and their functions.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
- EPA Certification required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HVAC certification or licensure.
- Experience with various HVAC brands and models.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- OSHA certification for safety in construction.
