Job Description
Position Summary: Assists the maintenance supervisor in by providing maintenance, repairs, and operations of all HVAC equipment.
Stipend for an employed MAINTENANCE in addition to a twelve (12) month assignment ($10,000 annual stipend)
Assist maintenance supervisor in monitoring the building automation system
Respond to all HVAC related work orders and complete tasks such as blower motor replacements, steam leak repairs, charging of systems, compressor, motor and pump replacements, etc
Recommend to maintenance supervisor any repairs that can not be taken care of in house
Assist when needed with all preventative maintenance for HVAC related assets
Complete regular maintenance technical duties on a daily basis as assigned
Maintenance
Position Summary: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and
maintain equipment to provide a safe and well-sustained learning environment.
Perform highly diversified duties that involve mechanical, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing and before, during, and after the school day when responding to work orders and emergency calls.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and replace or repair parts.
Prioritize and monitor preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment throughout the facility.
Complete all assigned work orders throughout the facility including but not limited to classrooms, hall ways, exterior repairs, offices and athletic facilities.
Utilize commercial equipment including but not limited to hand and power tools, aerial, and scissor lifts, snow removal equipment, specialized HVAC and electrical tools
Remove snow and ice as needed.
Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor with facility inventory needs and additional building concerns.
Performs HVAC work in student occupied areas including but not limited to steam leaks, blower motors, AC and heat issues before, during and after the school day.
Assists with any mechanical setup and teardown for school related events.
Benefits:
$19.98 per hour (as maintenance without HVAC specialist stipend)
Monday-Friday/40 hours a week/6:00am-2:30pm
