In this role you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on all commercial HVAC systems. This includes coil cleaning, filter changes, drain cleaning, and operational checks on the HVAC system.

Job Responsibilities:
As our HVAC PM Technician you will be responsible for coil cleaning, filter changes, drain cleaning, and operational checks on commercial HVAC systems.
Additional responsibilities of the HVAC PM Technician include:
- Staying in constant contact with the office and Regional Service Coordinator regarding scheduling and completions of jobs; answering all office emails/calls in a timely manner
- Checking with client at beginning and end of job; completing all company forms thoroughly; obtaining client signature
- Submitting all paperwork each week for processing in sequential order
- Ensuring all vendor packing slips or invoices for each job are secured to related forms
- Ensuring all material used for each task are listed properly on forms
- Assisting on job sites with other mechanical technicians as needed
- Securing parts and tools needed throughout the day for various jobs as required
- Calling in repairs to the Estimator or Field Supervisor to obtain quotes to complete forms
- Consulting Field Supervisor or Regional Service Coordinator in times of uncertainty
Additional requirements of the HVAC PM Technicianinclude:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-3 years of commercial HVAC experience
- Must be able to drive to local job sites on a daily basis and when needed travel as work volume dictates
- Must be able to work overtime hours as needed
- Assist HVAC/R Service Technicians with carrying heavy loads when two technicians are required
- Assist HVAC/R Service Technicians with installations of new HVAC/R equipment when required
- Must adhere to the company uniform policy
- Must maintain a clean vehicle and keep office aware of maintenance issues
- Must follow rules and regulation in the company Handbook
- Physical Requirements of this role:• Ability to lift 50 lbs.• Ability to work in extreme weather• Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 50 lbs.• Ability to wear safety gear correctly most of the day• Ability to be at elevated levels• Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Must be able to install, repair, adjust, maintain and troubleshoot the following equipment:
- Refrigerant controls (metering devices); Hermetic compressors; Split systems from 2 to 4 tons
- Packaged units from 2.5 to 30 tons; Ductless splits; Electric Motors (3-phase and 1-phase)
- Electric motor controls (contractors, starters, relays, disconnect, thermostats, etc.)
- Light commercial furnaces; Economizers; Humidifiers
- Must be able to perform the following tasks: Soldering, Brazing and Recovery

Compensation Base: $15-$20 hourly based on experience
