Hvac Installation Apprentices (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning)

Our office in Hillsboro- has an immediate need for bright and enthusiastic individuals to join our field operations team. No experience is necessary; we will provide all the necessary training in our training facility and in the field.

Installation Technician-

First year technicians can earn from $30,000 to $100,000, with bonus incentives

Up to $1,000 Tool Allowance!!!

General duties:

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and install hvac equipment.
• Demonstrate Respect and Compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
• Completes all tasks in accordance with Shafer Heating and Cooling quality and safety standards
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
• Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license, with minimal DMV infractions

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

• Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
• Moderate physical effort required, including standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
• Moderate exposure to physical risk
