Form of work- Our client, a leading mechanical servicing company working specifically with HVAC and controls, has an immediate need for a skilled HVAC Controls Sales Engineer to be based out of Binghamton, NY. Our client is an industry leader with a stellar reputation in the industry for over 30 years. They are experiencing a strong period of growth and are looking to add several new members their team this year!
- In this role, the HVAC Controls Sales Engineer will represent the company as a service expert. You will be responsible for new business development for the company, and more specifically working directly with Facilities directors, Engineers, to grow relationships and work incoming leads. The HVAC Controls Sales Engineer will utilize technical knowledge of system projects to provide recommendations, technical support, and exceptional customer service. They will collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand needs, estimate projects, troubleshoot and identify solutions along with identifying how the client can successfully complete all HVAC system installations, upgrades, retro-fit, modifications, etc.
Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position will either possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5+ years of proven success in HVAC sales or come from the field and have a strong technical proficiency. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. They should possess strong CRM experience and exceptional customer service skills.
Compensation: Our client is offering a base salary in the 60k – 85k/year range and an uncapped commission program that will put you between 100k – 120k/year total earnings.
