We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing organization. In this position, you will employ sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting channels. You will play a critical role in ensuring that we are hiring the best possible talent and achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers, coordinating on-boarding, and leading our intern program. The selected candidate will work in our Louisville Kentucky office
Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding qualified and diverse candidates in both national and international markets, in accordance with the long-term strategic goals of Home of the Innocents. The TAS will closely engage with all stakeholders and implement the end-to-end hiring process to ensure a positive experience for candidates.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process for all positions.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
- Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks.
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
- Perform Talent Acquisition activities including, resume reviews, phone screens, and interviews.
- Organize and attend recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork.
- Conduct new employee onboarding to ensure the process is engaging and consistent.
- Create offer letters, update recruiting reports, and provide other staffing administration functions.
- Respond in a timely manner to internal and external applicants as required.
- Arrange pre-employment testing, background, and reference screenings.
- Update and place job postings on job boards, social networks, community boards and with staffing partners.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding status of referrals and internal opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment with demonstrated success maintaining positive relationships.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective decision-making skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Experience with recruiting internationally is highly desired.
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks.
- Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong experience utilizing LinkedIn to access passive candidates.
- Experience providing customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, educational institutions, in the business community & with vendors.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of recruiting or HR generalist experience working in a fast-paced environment. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 7 years of recruiting or HR generalist experience working in a fast-past environment is required.
