Summary of Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing administrative work ranging from routine clerical tasks to recurring daily, weekly, and monthly duties to special projects and assignments. This position provides support for Human Resources areas that range from: recruiting, onboarding, learning, payroll, benefits, communications, safety and special projects. This administrative role will perform duties under limited supervision. This position will also be responsible for performing other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Duties and Functions:
  1. Provide administrative support to all human resource team members and areas including special projects as assigned.
  2. Assist team members with creating and maintaining data reports using Excel or other company software packages and with survey data collection and organizing data results for further analysis
  3. Perform data entry, make assignments, and generate reports in cloud-based software packages for team members including but not limited to iCIMS, Trakstar LMS and UKG.
  4. Coordinate internal and external department printed and electronic mail, including processing of certified mail, managing electronic mailboxes, and assisting with calendar maintenance.
  5. Provide assistance to team members for all-employee events, departmental activities, training, wellness, performance management, departmental audits, safety, recruitment activities, and other areas as requested.
  6. Track and code invoices and receipts to ensure all payments are accurately maintained for human resource activities.
  7. Assist team members with ticket giveaways, holiday cards to partners and vendors, employee birthday and anniversary cards, service awards, floral orders, and other items as requested.
  8. Coordinate inventory of company apparel, promotional items, and training materials as needed to support all Human Resources programs and projects.
  9. Assist with distributing internal postings throughout the company and supporting overall communication plans.
  10. Complete assigned tasks on various departmental checklists to ensure accurate and efficient updates for our employees throughout the employment life cycle.
  11. Provide support for all new hire activities and onboarding within the Human Resources area and the appropriate department to ensure a smooth and successful transition to Streck.
  12. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements include:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of previous administrative support experience supporting multiple team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 experience required including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience using SharePoint, Survey Monkey, UKG, and social platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Must be dependable, have a professional attitude and appearance, and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, orally and in writing.

Technical Competencies:
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate various machines and electronic devices essential to processes utilized within office administration.
  • Prior experience navigating HRIS system information.

Work Environment/Travel Demands:
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work). Travel demands for this position are estimated up to 5%. If travel is required, this travel may include customer visits, events/trade shows, and completion of presentations primarily throughout Domestic US or International regions. Employees must comply with all travel recommendations regarding "safe travel" according to company policies and guidelines, and all federal, state, local, and international orders.
Physical and Mental Demands:
Light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move objects. This also includes standing for up to two and a half hours consecutively, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, stooping, fingering, and grasping. Expressing and receiving detailed information through written and oral communication. Also has an ability to make sound, appropriate, and prompt decisions within the guidelines of the role.
