The HR Engagement and Event Support Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our Human Resources team in engaging employees, organizing events, and ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and well-organized, professional, eager to contribute to the happiness of our organization.
Responsibilities:
-Assist HR team in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, trainings, workshops, and employee recognition programs.
-Hands on with planning, setting up and cleaning up for events.
-Works within company budgets and budgets set for events; is cost conscious when making purchases.
-Coordinate logistics for company events, including venue booking, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation arrangements.
-Collaborate with the HR team to create engaging material and distribute internal communications related to employee engagement and events.
-Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel.
-Ensure that all office locations are stocked with needed office supplies; will involve ordering supplies online and picking up supplies locally.
-Supports new hire orientation and training of new employees.
-Support the HR team with other general administrative tasks, as required.
Job Competences:
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive and professional attitude, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
