Human Resources Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled human resources specialist who is passionate about employee benefits, supporting, and managing leave programs through our company's policies and managing procedures. Our ideal candidate will be responsible and reliable, and willing to regularly contribute to making our company a better place to work. S/he should be highly efficient, organized, and approachable. We expect applicants to have a solid knowledge of various HR functions and administrative responsibilities. HR Specialist responsibilities include:

• Family Medical Leave administration
• Personal Leave Administration
• Benefits Administration
• Workers Compensation coordination
• Annual reporting 5500C tax return
• Manage ACA monthly reporting
• EEOC compliance reporting
• Other administrative duties related to the field of work

To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle benefit administration and solid knowledge of labor legislation.

Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace environment by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times providing excellent customer service to our team of employees.

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree required
• PHR Certification required
• 3 years plus HR practices experience required
• Proven work experience as an HR Specialist
• Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), like Paylocity, Employer Navigator, etc...
• Knowledge of FMLA and LOA Tracking Systems
• Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
• Familiarity with Wellness Programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Team management skills
