POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Receptionist
REPORTS TO:Human Resources Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt/Hourly
PURPOSE OF THE POSTION: This position has the primary responsibility of ensuring the front desk is staffed in order to greet visitors, answer and forward calls, and receive and route mail and other deliveries. In addition to daily receptionist duties, this position provides additional administrative support to Human Resources.

- Greet visitors and staff in a professional and friendly manner, assisting and directing as appropriate.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk. (visitor badges, log book)
- Assist with maintaining and creating employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
- Assist with recruiting functions such as creating and maintaining job posts, intake of employee applications, screening, hiring, and onboarding.
- Assist the HR Department by providing administrative support to all divisions.
- Keep inventory of office supplies and request additional supplies as needed.
- Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong verbal/written communication skills required – both English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Action oriented with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated, exceptional customer service skills.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a shared office space, as well as warehouse production facility as needed to perform duties.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Agricultural and/or office experience preferred.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:
- High School diploma or GED required.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods of time, as required by the task. A large share of work is completed using standard computer/office equipment. Occasional lifting related to role of up to 25 pounds.

Borton & Sons, Inc. is a 12‐month, two‐shift facility which can require occasional and seasonal overtime.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
