Hiring Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
- The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.
The Human Resources Officer will work on-site at the ANB Cherry Creek location with the ability to work remotely for up to six days per month and within the terms of the Flexible Working Location Policy.

Summary
- The Human Resources Officer is responsible for providing support relating to the assigned regions of the Company. This position advises regional supervisors and Officers on various employment issues, including deficient performance of employees and appropriate counseling and disciplinary measures, interpretation of employment policies, salary administration, etc. This position will assist with internal Human Resources auditing procedures, survey administration, and analytics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Advises supervisors/managers of assigned regions on various employment issues, including the deficient performance of employees and appropriate counseling/disciplinary measures, investigations, interpretation of employment policies, salary administration, etc.
- Acts as liaison between Human Resources Department and regional employees.
- Consults with managers on administering salary guidelines and ensures equity and consistency within assigned regions.
- Process employee terminations and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Assists the Leave of Absence Administrator and Human Resources Coordinator with answering questions and backup support to the leave of absence and workers compensation administration.
- Assists the Human Resources Coordinator with support to the new hire, onboarding, personnel change, and offboarding processes.
- Oversees internal auditing for the Human Resources department monthly.
- Ensure organizational charts are updated monthly.
- Manages the biannual performance review process with assistance from the Human Resources Coordinator.
- Manages the administration of Company surveys.
- Works closely with the Human Resources Director and perform special projects as assigned.
- Assists the HR Director with the completion of turnover data and analytics.
- Assists the HR Director with updates to job descriptions as needed.
- Provides backup support as needed to the UKG and Kronos case management system.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Ensuring Corporate compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including the FLSA, Executive Order 11246, JAFA, HFWA, Title VII, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.
- Ensures compliance with all record-keeping requirements.
- Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.

Education and/or Experience
Human Resources Officer I:
- 2 - 3 years of related Human Resources experience with 1 year of employee relations experience required.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Previous experience with an HRIS system; direct experience with Kronos or UKG preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
