Job Description
Bilingual Human Resources Manager
The Bilingual Human Resources Manager (Vietnamese or Chinese) manages the administration of HR policies, procedures and programs, and supports HR administration, employee relations, training and development, compensation, and recruitment. Also, processes bi-weekly payroll.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
· Oversees recruitment of nonexempt production and office positions and recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant exempt leadership and office positions.
· Oversees planning and management of new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals and engage new hires in the organization.
· Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, and company policies and procedures.
· Oversees plant employee training and implements leadership trainings for the year which may include lunch and learns for companywide development.
· Resolves employee relations issues to include conflict resolution, harassment investigations, wage complaints, employee disputes, attendance issues and general questions.
· Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
· Conducts salary surveys with labor market to determine competitive wage rate and make recommendations to leadership.
· Responsible for updating and maintaining job descriptions for the company.
· Interview hourly employee candidates, tour employees in the plant, support orientation, and other recruitment activities.
· Manage day-to-day transactions and projects as needed within the plant.
· Process bi-weekly payroll.
· Manages monthly and annual open enrollment with Benefits Manager.
Requirements
2-3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with HR policies, procedures, employee relations, recruiting, and payroll processes
Bilingual a must (Vietnamese or Chinese)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelors required – degree in human resource, business administration, or relevant field preferred
