Reports to: Presidents
Description: Develops policies, and directs and coordinates Human Resources activities such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, labor relations, training, employee relations, workers compensation, disability and FMLA.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Oversee the entire payroll process of the liberty payroll, working closely with HR Assistant and Assistant Controller.
· Manage the time clock system and PTO.
· Manage annual harassment training.
· Manage the workers compensation claims
· Manage the disability, FMLA and PFL claims.
· Manage the 401k, medical, dental and vision benefits enrollments and terms.
· Manage the recruitment process by posting jobs, reviewing resumes, applications, working with hiring managers to schedule interview, interviewing.
· Processing background checks.
· Manage the annual review process.
· Offsite recruitment, job fairs, and travel to not for profit agencies.
· New hire orientations, setting new hires up in the payroll system.
· Advising department managers of company policies regarding equal employment questions, compensation, and employee benefits.
· Reconcile and upload 401K
· Approve invoices for medical, dental, vision and supplemental benefits.
· Manage the unemployment claims.
· Write letters of employment verification.
· Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
· Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
· Lead Holiday/Event Committee.
· Running various ad hoc reports as requested.
· Oversee and direct the HR Assistant and duties.
Required skills and Abilities: included but not limited to:
· Payroll experience (Paypro Workforce One a plus).
· Experience working with a PEO a plus.
· Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, Human Resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
· Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interest; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
· Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
