I have a direct hire remote Human Resources Manager position based out of Vienna, Virginia. The hiring client is small size company, that provides a full range of management consulting and information technology services to federal agencies and private industry.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER -JOB DESCRIPTION

This individual will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and administering multiple internal company functions. You will perform oversight and execution of employee engagement, recruiting, compensation practices, client invoicing, accounts payables, and federal contract management. This role requires maintaining relationships with managers and staff at all levels of the organization to ensure effective administration, definition, and delivery of all operations and HR-related functions. This position recommends process/service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and/or significant variations from established policy pertaining to benefits and compensation. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate closely with Senior Management to ensure Operations, Human Resources, and office activities are executed efficiently.
• Develop strategies, methods, and initiatives necessary for establishing and improving employee engagement.
• Develop staff recruitment strategy and recruiting execution.
• Review vendor agreements and make strategic recommendations to company leadership.
• Oversee staff executing Performance Management, Recruiting, Payroll.
• Oversee staff executing the new hire onboarding process and orientation and coordinate further hire training.
• Oversee staff performing contract management activities by possessing a high-level understanding of invoicing and knowledge of federal client invoicing systems.
• Oversee staff managing company time sheets, company credit cards, and other company resources.
• Support coordination of training and development needs concerning staff professional development.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of a wide array of Human Resource functions
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
• Familiarity with Federal Government contracting concepts

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
