The Human Resources Business Partnerwill play a key role in the success of our rapidly growing firm by helping to create a distinctive team member experience through various programs and touchpoints across the team member’s career. They will deliver HR solutions that actively contribute to both business growth and a thriving company culture by forming a robust HR partnership within the operational facets. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate extensively with our HR team across multiple offices, fostering continuous enhancement in HR service delivery and processes while integrating and sharing best practices.

Specific duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Create a distinctive onboarding experience for new team members, guiding and supporting them through orientation processes
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, supporting team members at every stage of their journey
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR questions for the local team members
  • Assist with the creation, documentation, and implementation of new HR programs
  • Support benefits administration, including open enrollment
  • Collaborate with the Salas O'Brien Recruiting team to attract top talent for open roles and ensure an exceptional candidate experience
  • Manage the offboarding process and conduct exit interviews, synthesizing feedback to identify trends and propose initiatives to address highlighted concerns
  • Advocate for ongoing feedback between team members and their managers, offering support and guidance to managers
  • Foster team member engagement and retention, proposing strategies to enhance our work environment based on feedback
  • Ensure the accuracy of payroll data in each cycle and maintain the integrity of HR systems
  • Additional project support within the HR function as needed and available
Your Background
  • Minimum 5 plus years’ experience in a similar Human Resources role
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment as a sole HR Practitioner
  • Experience working in the AEC industry is a plus
  • Advanced experience with MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources with a SPHR or SHRM-SCP designation preferred
