A Day in the Life of a Human Resources Associate:
The Human Resources Associate plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to both the HR and Finance teams. The primary responsibilities include maintaining the accuracy and integrity of employee and finance data, conducting audits, and responding to inquiries related to HR and Finance. The associate collaborates with internal teams and external partners, as it relates to payroll, including the processing of payroll related matters. They also handle confidential personnel records, participate in data integrity audits, and support recruitment and onboarding processes. Additionally, the associate contributes to administrative tasks in benefit programs, compensation reporting, and overall compliance in HR and Finance. Overall, the role involves a diverse range of activities aimed at enhancing collaboration, communication, and problem resolution within the HR and Finance functions.
Required Qualifications
•Five (5) years' experience of supporting Human Resources operations. Equivalent education, such as an associate degree in business administration or related field, may be substituted for one-to-one-year professional experience.
•Demonstrated proficiency using business productivity tools and applications including Excel, Word and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and other cloud-based office applications such as SharePoint.
•Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Human Resources information systems, payroll processing, and similar computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Knowledge of Hawaii State and Federal labor laws and related regulatory compliance.
