SUMMARY
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for the administrative duties of the HR department and assisting in varied HR duties of Victory Church, Victory Christian School, Victory College, Camp Victory, and Tulsa Dream Center as needed. A primary responsibility will be assisting with Dream Team application processing including reference calls, background checks and follow-up communication.

SUMMARY
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for the administrative duties of the HR department and assisting in varied HR duties of Victory Church, Victory Christian School, Victory College, Camp Victory, and Tulsa Dream Center as needed. A primary responsibility will be assisting with Dream Team application processing including reference calls, background checks and follow-up communication.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform administrative duties within the Human Resources office including: answering phones, assisting customers, filing and other administrative support functions.
- Assist the HR team member with processing new Dream Team applications by creating checklists, updating the applicant tracking system, updating ministry systems, and reaching out to applicants for further information;
- Assist with communications and various tasks within Human Resources to all Dream Team applicants, Dream Teamers, ministries, and other groups as necessary;
- Assist with ensuring legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required;
- Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire and volunteer onboarding process coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience;
- Assist in administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, volunteer processing, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance;
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field or equivalent work experience;
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness;
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures, policies, and state and Federal regulations;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill;
- Ability to prioritize tasks;
- Positive customer-oriented attitude and professional image.

- Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk working close-up tasks primarily on a computer in environmentally controlled office;
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the ministry’s facilities.
- Proficient in oral and written communications;
- Sighted and vision capabilities to include close visual work while maintaining records within online databases;
- Hearing and speaking in order to initiate and respond to incoming telephone calls regarding benefit enrollment, claims, and termination;
