Palm Beach Tan is one of the nations largest chains of tanning salons, with over 200 corporate-owned stores in 17 states and over 200 franchise locations nationwide. We are currently seeking an Human Resources Coordinator. This position is located at our corporate office in Las Colinas, TX.The HR Coordinator will assist in supporting our corporate locations through a variety of tasks. Primary job duties include onboarding new hires, responding to employment verifications, and administrative tasks.Responsibilities
- Onboard new employees and insert them into our point-of-sale system
- Assist with background check process and FCRA compliance
- Respond to employment verifications
- Maintain and submit unemployment claims
- Respond to general questions/password reset requests.
- Submit worker's compensation claims
- Assist with employee status change requests through our HRIS system
- Complete Annual Drivers License Check for applicable employees.
- Assist the People Department with special projects as needed
- Maintain electronic employee files through our HRIS
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently
- If a current Palm Beach Tan employee must be in good standing, with no corrective action.
- 2 years college degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-unit environment (retail/food service experience a plus)
- Experience with UKG Pro
- Advance Microsoft Excel knowledge
