HSN Buying Summer Internship

The Opportunity
HSN is recruiting for a position in the Multi-Platform Buying Internship Program. We are looking for top talent with the passion to grow the business and a curiosity to learn. This program is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the buying office and experience the entire product lifecycle, from product concept to the customer.
Multi-Platform Buying is a team that works in partnership with many departments within the company. We welcome creative minds to immerse themselves within teams, across our portfolio of brands, to increase sales. Interns receive a paid, hands-on learning experience that revolves around buying through a love of storytelling. Our immersive program offers interns engaging events, small group exposure to leadership, insight into company initiatives and even a chance for a full-time job opportunity. As an intern, you will have exposure to managing a category and brand including insights into product development and selection. As a member of the Buying team, you will work directly with vendors and internal team members to grow your business. Interns are provided with coaching from their leaders and mentors throughout the program in order support their career growth.
QVC is providing a full-time, paid Summer Internship that runs from 5/20/2024 to 8/09/2024. With a weekly commitment working onsite Monday through Friday.

Your Impact

• Help develop products/price/terms; buy and build new products, concepts, shows and ideas to deliver sales results across our multi-platforms.
• Responsible for item and purchase order creation, maintenance and monitoring warehouse processing.
• Process product through the quality assurance and claims process.
• Responsible for daily office functions including business analysis.
• Communicate with our teams and our vendor community to maximize efficiency of product lifecycle activities and ensure product is ready for their go-live date.
• Learn and understand the customer and the connection with her.
• Track and process Buyer's samples received from vendors.

What You Bring

• You must be a Junior, Senior or Graduate student enrolled in an accredited college, university or master's program.
• Completed at least 4 semesters.

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
