Summary:
The Site HSE Manager is responsible for the design, development, implementation, communication, and coordination of all environmental, health, safety and DOT programs for aviation and energy job sites. The HSE Manager supports the site by implementing HSE programs and leads the field safety team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Develops and implements site safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including but not limited to: OSHA, EPA, and DOT
· Monitor all HSE procedures and recommend strategies to avoid incidents and implement corporate health, safety and environmental standards
· Develop and implement employee training programs in accordance with regulatory guidelines and corporate safety standards
· Provides technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the field safety team, managers, and employees on safety initiatives, policies, and best practices
· Ensure compliance with timely reporting as required by state and federal health safety regulations and statutes
· Conducts post-accident investigation, prepares, written reports of finding and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures were indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
· HSE certifications (Board of Certified Safety Professionals, etc.) preferred
· Minimum OSHA 510 recommended
· Strong communication and willingness to have a hands-on approach
· Experience working in a construction environment is preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Travel – May be required to visit field locations as needed up to 75%
- Work location will be on a jobsite in Houston area
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
