Overview:

Responsible for developing and implementing health safety and environmental (HSE) compliance programs for global corporation. Programs will need to meet regulatory requirements and best enable the corporation to achieve its HSE mission and goals. Implementation and training relative to these programs will need to be customer focused and effective.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Serves as a resource for Global HSES Director and corporate management to develop and implement a proactive prevention program for HSE incidents.
• Provides technical assistance to the organization to ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state and/or company environmental, safety, and health regulations.
• Conducts compliance evaluations of HSE programs to ensure regulatory and corporate requirements are in place and effective. Support the organization on effectively addressing any identified opportunities for improvement.
• Recommends facilities and technological specifications to carry out programs that fulfill the organization's overall objectives.
• Develop and conduct training to best ensure effective implementation of HSE programs and processes. External contacts include clients at work locations and regulatory agencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in safety or environmental engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant HSE experience
• Experience in a plant environment a plus.
