Job description

This is a non-continuing position for the remainder fo the 2023-24 school year.
NOTE: This position is open to qualified CERSD employees from February 7 - February 13, 2024. Applications from out of district applicants will not be considered until February 14th, 2024. Applications will be reviewed as submitted. Position will be open until filled.
Accountability: High School Principal
Areas of Responsibility:
  • Attends and supervises all activity functions
  • Monitors purchase orders
  • Follows applicable district operating procedures
  • Follows current ASB Law & Regulations
  • Guides and supervises club activities to ensure compliance with the law
  • Facilitates regular meetings (every week during lunch)
  • Maintains meeting minutes
  • Monitors fundraising activities
  • Oversees cash handling and reconciliations
  • Sets expectations
  • Clarifies goals and objectives
  • Maintains physical inventory (equipment, uniforms, tools, )
  • Utilizes creativity
  • Demonstrates skills and preparedness
  • Acts as a role model
  • Assists students in the preparation of the club/activity annual budget
  • Is responsible for communicating to Head of Facilities & building principal time frames, facility usage, and responsible persons supervising
  • Planning & facilitating ASB Elections for following year (Late April/early May)
  • Planning & facilitating Spirit days (Virtual & Face-to-Face)
  • Planning & facilitating Homecoming (if applicable)
  • Planning & facilitating Prom (if applicable)
  • Student support
  • Communicating with building administration regarding all things ASB
  • Creates a calendar of events (General and Executive ASB meetings, other clubs meetings, dances, etc)

ASAP or within two weeks of hire.
Requirements:
Will be required to take WSBO ASB training prior to starting the position. The district will pay for the training.
