Job Summary:
MAPMG is hiring a HRMS Analyst to lead data-driven process and facilitates technology solutions to support the achievement of business objectives. The Analyst partners with key stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and document HR technology opportunities that create capacity, reduce risks, enable automation, increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience. The HRMS Analyst is also responsible for driving key enhancements and special projects in the HRMS area by applying project management fundamentals, analytical capabilities, and process knowledge of HRMS to support the achievement of business goals.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with the ability to go into the office twice per week. This position will be based in Rockville, MD. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Washington D.C., Maryland, or Virginia area.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal customers to ensure the solution deliverables satisfy business requirements
- Collaborate with HR and stakeholders to define business requirements and build appropriate reporting and metrics
- Serve as lead for assigned projects involving the analysis, implementation, administration, upgrade, and conversion of HR systems and databases that supports organizational goals and objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, review, test and implement HRMS upgrades and patches including User Acceptance Testing processes to maximize HRMS functionality
- Responsible for interfacing with HRMS vendors to implement new interfaces and coordinate all related activities, troubleshoot, escalate as needed, and resolve system problems
- Execute day-to-day administration including but not limited to data integrity assurance, maintenance, security configuration, and process documentation of HRMS systems
- Undertake data analytics and build interactive dashboards containing forecasts and predictive models to support demand projections and capacity planning
- Research and recommend changes for new or modified systems, equipment, and software to meet changing requirements
- Develop ad-hoc reports and establishes parameters for end-user reporting
- Develop and maintain effective HRMS archiving and automated record-keeping programs and procedures
- Research and resolve problems, unexpected results or process flaws
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Analytics or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of HRMS experience
- Project management experience is highly preferred
- Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence, Excel, Tableau or other reporting tool
- Proficiency with administration of HRMS such as UKG, Workday or Success Factors, UKG preferred
- Proficiency with Access or other databases preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing priorities as needed
