If so, we want to talk to you. Good Karma Brands is looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented HRIS/Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in collecting, compiling, and protecting employee data in our ADP system as well as ensuring accuracy in the payroll process in compliance with state and federal laws. They will have previous HRIS and payroll processing experience and act as a liaison between GKB and ADP, our HR platform.

Daily Tasks of a HRIS/Benefits Specialist:

• Support and maintain ADP to ensure accurate information, including teammate records, payroll data, PTO information, etc.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, guidance and training to HRIS users
• Assist with permissions, access, system operations and settings for HRIS users
• Collaborate with team to identify system improvements and enhancements
• Recommend and implement solutions to utilize system to full capability
• Responsible for accurate reporting and dissemination of information from ADP system i.e., monthly teammate report, birthday, and anniversary reports, etc.
• Serve as the benefits administrator working directly with our vendors and ADP to ensure all benefit enrollments, changes and terminations are accurate
• Collaborate with finance on benefit invoicing, etc.
• Assist with processing new teammate documents during onboarding to include I-9 documentation, signed company policies, etc.
• Handle paperwork and assist with company audits such as workers compensation, unemployment, Retirement Plan – 401(k), etc.
• Serve as backup for semi-monthly payroll processing
• Handle offboarding responsibilities to include verifying payroll and benefits information, terminating teammates in system, etc.
• Identify and recommend improvements to ensure efficiencies in payroll process

Preferred knowledge, skills, and qualifications:

• Previous human resources administration experience
• Previous system administration experience preferably with ADP
• Previous experience processing payroll
• Exercise good judgment and possess the ability to analyze and resolve problems
• High level of skill in handling sensitive and confidential information
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detailed oriented and the ability to prioritize tasks

Hours/Salary/Benefits

This is an exempt role with a competitive base salary. This role is eligible for full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave, and more with opportunities for salary growth increase with skills and responsibilities and meeting targeted goals. The position will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
