Job Description
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar operations and settings for users.
- Documents and tests system upgrades, enhancements, or integration with systems to ensure adequate information security, data integrity, and continued functionality.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Manages HR data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Compiles or assists with delivery of complex data reports, dashboards and/or summaries to support business decisions.
- Provides training to the HR team, leaders, and employees on HRIS functionality.
- Develops and maintains documentation for system processes and procedures.
- Ensures HRIS compliance with relevant laws and regulations and completes Federal and State mandate reporting requirements within the required deadlines.
- Stays abreast of changes in HR technology and makes recommendations for updates.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- At least three years of related experience required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desirable.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- At least three years of related experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Experience with SCA compliance a plus.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of UKG's systems.
