Job Description
Job Summary
Gain practical experience and exposure to the professional world whole providing a broad understanding of various aspects of our organization and industry and allow participants to contribute to real projects and tasks.
As an intern at Stewart, you will have access to work on real-world projects, gain insights from mentors and leaders throughout the organization, and have the opportunity to participate in social and community events to enhance the experience - ultimately providing you with tools to support your transition from college to professional life. Our Summer internship program runs June 3 - August, 9 2024.
During the internship, you will:

  • Receive exposure to multiple groups within the Stewart HR team
  • Evaluate current business challenges and work to design and deliver solutions that will have a direct impact on current Stewart processes leveraging our HR technology system, Workday.
  • Be exposed to company-wide initiatives that you will assist the HRIS team in implementing.
  • Provide insights using HR data analytics and reporting from Workday.
  • Be assigned projects that help to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
  • Have support from a mentor, your manager, and various business leaders within HR, all of whom will ensure you have every tool available at your disposal to succeed.
  • Help develop written documentation for current business processes and possible new system configurations within Workday.
  • Have assigned projects that will directly help identify and deliver business continuity improvements
  • Learn internal processes, systems, and other industry-related information related to HRIS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interns to inform your project(s)

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's level degree program

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the passion and energy to leave your mark
  • Have the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders across the organization
  • Be adept at handling a changing workload and intaking a high volume of information
  • Have a passion for seeking out process enhancements or solutions and simultaneously delivering on your current project workload
  • Be results-oriented, innovative, collaborative, analytical, hands-on, inquisitive, a quick learner, proactive, and have excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Be extremely organized and attentive to detail while still being able to effectively handle multi-faceted tasks
  • Be able to fulfill the duties of the role in either an in-person or remote environment for the duration of your internship (locations and format may vary)
  • Be available to complete the entire internship program as defined by the communicated program start and end dates
  • Be fluent in oral and written English and be eligible to legally work in the country in which you are applying, without company sponsorship or time restriction
