Job Description
Summary:
The HRIS Intern will gain exposure and make important contributions to HRIS business processes during a 12-week internship. Throughout the internship, the HRIS Intern will team up with the HRIS Senior Analyst and HR subject matter experts to get an in-depth experience with Ceridian Dayforce and HR-related processes such as Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Performance Management, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to enhance and improve HR procedures, policies, and programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing information services and databases to improve the end-user experience.
- Assist in testing system modifications in appropriate test environments.
- Assist in creating and maintaining process, system, and end-user documentation.
- Support the build-out of Learning, Performance Management, and reporting in Dayforce.
- Assist with further development of data, dashboards, and overall metrics.
- Work cross-functionally with various departments across the organization.
- Support the HR team with day-to-day operational and project tasks.
- Assist with entering data and data integrity audits.
- Assigned capstone project to be delivered to the HR leadership team in August 2023.
- Perform other HR project tasks as assigned.

- Strong technical acumen.

- Must be a self-starter, ability to take initiative and research information/problems, and be self-sufficient.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality dealing with sensitive associate information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Strong planning skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- Strong customer service attitude, providing excellent service to internal and external partners.
- Onsite work is required weekly in Blaine, MN; the candidate must be local to this facility location.
- Hybrid work may be considered.
Preferred Education & Training:
- Current student (junior or senior status) actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related from an accredited college/university. A minor in Business, Human Resources, or Accounting is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and does not require sponsorship.

- The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee may be required to sit for prolonged periods.
