Job Overview
The CGS HRIS Analyst maintains human resource information systems (HRIS) by updating databases, managing user accounts, and assists with resolving issues. This position responds to inquiries and educates employees on how to use the software. The CGS HRIS Analyst will play a coordinator role in HR related software implementations and changes. On a day-to-day basis, the CGS HRIS Analyst compiles required or informational reports for internal customers.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Systems Management
  • Key player and part of the project management team for HR systems implementations, configurations, and other related projects.
  • Works closely with HR, Finance and Digital Solutions leadership teams to optimize the HR systems structure and protect data integrity.
  • Assists with implementing and testing HR software upgrades and/or software changes.
  • Sends informational updates regarding software status to users.
  • Acts as an escalation point for end-users who are experiencing difficulties in using any HR software.
  • Assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications.
  • Assist in auditing employee information/changes in the system to ensure accuracy.
  • Pulls reports/information for internal and external customers; where applicable.
  • Assist with research and identification of software issues, and resolution.
  • Provides frequent and clear communications regarding the status of initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of changes and work that is in progress.
  • Provide end user instruction and support to Corporate HR staff.
  • Assists with related training for users.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Performs other related work as assigned.

Data Entry
  • Enter employee information into HR systems.
  • Load, manipulate, audit, and report on data contained in various HR systems, and make complex mass changes, minor changes, and conversions.
  • Maintain data in tables, translates, and maps data across systems, and reviews output for accuracy.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Computer Science, or another related field.
    • Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
  • (3) years of Human Resources experience exhibiting a broad understanding of HR processes and procedures.
  • (3) years' experience with Oracle Cloud HCM.
  • Work experience that required pulling HR related reports and analyzing data.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet, database, and presentation software skills; primarily MS Office Suite.
  • Assisted in set-up, implementation, or management of HR software initiatives.
