Responsibilities:
Serve as Learning Management System (LMS) Integration and Reporting Expert for the HR Technical Training & Development team with responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure file delivery and follow up on data issues
- Own and manage all Learning Management System integrations & APIs
- Maintain integrations when business or data needs change
- Build and maintain data catalog to ensure understanding of data delivered
- Ensure existing integrations are delivering only essential data elements
- Hold Discovery Sessions with business partners, ET, HR and Vendors for requirements
- Partner with HR Technology Team, or Business Units to move new integrations and changes through appropriate processes
- Review existing integrations architecture and make updates as opportunities exist
- Design and deliver new integrations with vendors and internal customers
- Gather and document requirements as input into the design of an integration
- Identify, assess,and solvecomplex business problemsfor integrating Learning Management System with external applications across a wide array of functional areas
- Coordinate with HR teams to test and validate requirements are met; ensure integration defects are resolved during testing phase
- Create advanced reports using complex calculated fields
- Act as escalation point for problems with existing Learning Management System integrations
- Build dashboards and visualizations using matrix and composite reporting
- Ensure reports are shared with the users appropriately within the LMS security and permissions framework
- Streamline and optimize existing reporting library
- Work with various levels of users to understand business requirements for report requests
- Ensure successful migration of reports across sandbox and production environments
- Educate end users on reporting capabilities, and continuously seek reporting enhancements to support evolving requirements
- Document and publish internal knowledge base articles around integrations and reporting capabilities
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of learning management systems experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years' experience with Learning Management System Integrations, Reporting, Data Architecture
- Hands-on experience with building complex calculated fields and aggregations in Learning Management Systems
- Expert level experience creating and maintaining all types of reports such as Advanced, Matrix, Search, Dashboards, etc. as well as building data visualizations
- Strong technical and working knowledge of LMS systems, applications, theory, and best practices.
- Experience with software testing methodology and data validation
- Self-starter with ability to simultaneously manage and organize multiple tasks or projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations
- Ability to effectively manage vendor relationships
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of business process design/redesign practices
- Ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with database and application design technologies, i.e., SQL, XML/XLST, Webservices (SOAP, REST), middleware (BizTalk, Fusion, etc.)
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder),or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired:
- Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources, aerospace or related business area
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Experience supporting JIRA, ServiceNow, Visier and Glint
