Job description

The HRIS Administrator oversees the operation of the company’s human resources information systems to ensure they meet our business needs.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administration

  • Support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff.
  • Provides the necessary training to meet end users needs.
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the organizations internal HR information services systems, which may include database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems.
  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality, and appropriately handle private/sensitive information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and strong capabilities with Excel.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of database management or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Related experience in organizations with multiple facilities or locations.
