Pay Range: $20- $24/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for responding to and resolving employees.
- Benefits questions and problems, processing benefits transactions, communicating with health insurance vendors regarding eligibility and other benefit issues.
- They will also input data into the online system as it relates to benefits.
- The benefits analyst will conduct benefits orientation, manage benefits documentation, and conduct benefit audits with vendors.
- In addition, they will assist with the open enrollment process.
- Required Keywords:(Benefit or Benefits) and (LOA or “LEAVE OF ABSENCE”)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local leave of absence regulations, including FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, statutory disability and paid family leave programs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- Ability and demonstrated confidence in working professionally with all levels of staff as well as external vendors and partners.
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of sensitive employee medical and human resources information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to explain leave of absence processes and benefits in a clear, easy to understand manner. Virtual presentation skills a plus.
- Strong detail orientation with ability to analyze, problem solve, organize, and manage multiple priorities and excellent follow up skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated intermediate-level experience with computers, printers, and Microsoft Office products, particularly a high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience working with HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday and Kronos
