Elizabeth Layton Center is looking to add to it's Human Resources Team. ELC is looking for a reliable HR & Wellness Program Administrator. This is a full-time position Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm. EOE
Elizabeth Layton Center is a not-for-profit community mental health center that has received provisional certification as a CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic). Our mission is to serve the behavioral health needs of the citizens of Franklin and Miami Counties in Kansas.

SUMMARY:
The Human Resources & Wellness Program Administrator is responsible for performing administrative work within the HR Department, including scheduling and tracking all required trainings, maintaining files and preparation of New Hire Orientation Books and Pink Sheets. The HR & Wellness Program Administratorwill be responsible for leading a comprehensive Wellness Program. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Director.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintains all HR filing – keeping all personnel files updated and audit ready
Prepares New Hire Orientation Books and Benefit Folders
Creates Pink Sheets as needed
Assists HR Generalist with scheduling staff in MANDT/De-Escalation Trainings and helps maintain MANDT Spreadsheet
Assists with maintenance of Live Case Management Training Spreadsheet and scheduling of attendees
Responsible for all KDADS Background Checks for new hires and SED Waiver employees
Back up for and assists with facilitating New Hire Orientation Classes
Responsible for tracking of all required trainings (position trainings, MANDT, Case Management, sexual harassment, etc…) in Relias
Responsible for creating and maintaining all ELC staff reward and recognition programs
Responsible for planning and executing staff events, e.g. – holiday event and summer family event
Develops promotion and publicity for Wellness Programs throughout the organization
Coordinates, plans, and facilitates health and wellness activities and programs for employees
Plans and implements classes, speakers, seminars pertaining to wellness for ELC
Compiles statistical summaries of participant data and class attendance for ELC Wellness Programming
Strictly adheres to protecting confidentiality
Arrives for work on time and consistent in attendance
Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Director
Complies with ELC policies and procedures
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required OR a minimum of 8 years in an HR role
4+ years experience in HR &/or with HR related job functions
Experience in Development of Wellness programs preferred
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
Dependable vehicle with current valid driver’s license
Demonstrated HR knowledge and experience
Exceptional organizational skills
Effective utilization of basic office technology, including computer
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain complex filing systems
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Must have professional appearance and attitude
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs when moving/storing files
Must be able to successfully pass all required background checks
Ability to safely perform major responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
