Where do you fit?
To be a successful HR & Training Assistant you must become able to do the following always:
- Assist Human Resources and Training staff with audit preparation. Scan/fax documents, upload documents into the electronic system, and other general clerical duties in support of the department. Research and gather information as needed.
- Coordinate employee credentialling and licensing requirements.
- Responsible for employment verifications, motor vehicle registration checks, and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) affiliation list.
- Management of employee file compliance.
- Assist with HRIS maintenance, data entry, tracking, and reporting. Ensure accuracy of data entry.
- Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.

- High School Diploma required. Associate degree preferred.
- Two years’ experience in administrative work, preferably in human resources, social services, or nonprofit.
- Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.
- Maintain company-required training.
- Physical working requirements - Ability to travel, driving agency or personal vehicle including at night. Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk stairs. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
