At a Glance

 

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a HRIS Analyst to join the Legrand North America Team in West Hartford, CT, although the role can be fully remote.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the existing HRIS tools, including data conversion, business process design, configuration, testing, reporting, training, and ongoing system development in collaboration with the HR Operations, payroll/Finance, benefits, compensation, and IT functions. The Senior HRIS Analyst will also participate/lead in transformative project including acquisitions of new companies as well as interfacing with other foreign subsidiaries on reporting and data integrity.

 

Role: Support the maintenance of HR systems including Ceridian Dayforce as a core HCM, iCims ATS, CrossKnowledge LMS, and Cegid performance management. Responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Help support upgrades, patches and testing. The Senior HRIS Analyst will lead transformative projects across HR to reduce complexity, enable manager self-service, innovate on new capabilities or systems and improve the employee/manager experience, including acquisitions and conversions of new legal entities and integration of foreign subsidiaries.

What Will You Do?

 

1. Provide support for all HRIS systems including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Assist HR and end users with systems issues.

2. Write, maintain, support and analyze a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development and analyzing of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

3. Continuous assessment and evaluation of business processes, recommend efficiencies and automation, and provide enhancements and configurations through the use of technology to achieve operational excellence

4. Create and sustain data management procedures and audits to maintain data integrity and accuracy

5. Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements related to recordkeeping and reporting.

6. Serving as the primary point of contact for HR around system changes and partnering with various departments on execution.

7. Monitors the HRIS Support Desk and ensures tickets are being routed, customers are promptly responded to and issues resolved in a timely manner. Effectively communicate and respond to general HRIS inquiries. Provide customer service to associates, managers, payroll processors, and HR Business Partners.

8. Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train users on new processes/functionality.

9. Performs other similar and related duties as required.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Education: Bachelor's degree, required

Experience: 4+ years of HR experience, preferably in the HRIS field.  HCM Experience required in Ceridian, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, or Workday

  • Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to data management (privacy, data transfer and retention, etc.)
  • In depth understanding of employee life cycles as it relates to HR internal processes (recruiting, career progressions, terminations, benefits, etc.) and its bilateral relationship and impacts to Legrand’s HR technological strategy
  • Knowledge of Payroll system set up including but not limited to GL configuration, pay policies and time sheet setup.
  • Sophisticated data analysis capabilities.
  • Functional understanding of HRIS design, structure, and processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with prior experience in positions requiring communication with a broad and diverse audience.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems (iCims), and Ceridian HRIS preferred. Strong Excel skills including VLookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Confidence, integrity, humility, high degree of initiative.
  • A positive attitude and an earnest interest in providing good customer service
  • Able to work under pressure / multi task in a fast paced environment
