Job description

Must be local to Maryland. The position is hybrid with a few days/onsite per month. 
 
POSITION SUMMARY: 
 
This HR Shared Services Rep will support bonus recoupment efforts for LifeBridge Health. Provides support to HR and Manager-HR Shared Services for various transactional needs. Resolves basic HR inquiries on telephone or in writing. 
 
MUST have strong experience in Excel to run reports and maintaining spreadsheets, VLOOKUP, creating pivot tables, etc. 
 
Essential Functions:
 
Customer Service: Provides LBH employees with timely, accurate responses to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and processes via telephone or in writing. Responds in a timely, accurate manner to inquiries from employees, managers and Human Resource Business Partners regarding the processing of HR transactions, policies, and procedures. Handles more complex employee inquiries which require research and followup on a variety of HR issues, including but not limited to benefit administration, tuition assistance, HR transaction processing, etc. utilizing case management tool to track problem resolution. Communicate information and ideas in both speech and in writing so that others will understand. Follows call center scripting and knows when to ask for help.
 
Transaction Processing: Processes HR transactions accurately based on research, employee-specific information and process rules. Processes all personnel changes into Lawson, e.g., new hire related data, employee transfers, promotions, salary increase changes, status changes, address changes, terminations, open enrollment for benefits, etc. Collaborates with ES Supervisor and Manager to update documentation regarding ES processes and procedures. Inspects and evaluates quality of work; adheres to peer review process.
 
Case Management: Provides auditable records and appropriate documentation of employee interactions. Gathers appropriate information and identifies areas that need further research; works with subject-matter-experts and Tier 2 ES staff and responds back to customers with final answer.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Normal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
  • 3-5 years
