S3-Sutter Shared Services-Valley

Position Overview:

Serves as a critical liaison role between the Human Resources operations and the managers and employees' business sites across the Sutter Health enterprise. Plays an integral role in representing the delivery of human resources in the field with regular contact with the customer. Interacts with the human resource operations and the site leaders ensuring issues are raised to the proper level and addressed. Develops and manages key internal client relations with Sutter Health sites. Provides exceptional communications around initiatives ensuring best practices are implemented. Leads and/or participates in designated committees and task forces as needed to support the HR initiatives. Supports the success of the human resources model by helping to champion and drive the long-term human resource vision. Helps foster an environment in which continuous improvement in business processes and services is welcomed and recognized.

Job Description:

This role has a Work From Home opportunity. Candidate must live in one of the following Sutter approved states and be available to come on site as needed for meetings, etc.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related healthcare field or equivalent education/experience
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

In depth knowledge of HR processes as well as the laws governing HR regulations, the Joint Commission, etc.

Proficiency in knowledge and use of HR technologies and other related systems including client relationship management tools.

Proficiency in various PC software programs such as spreadsheets and word processors, and other statistical tools.

Organizational skills, problem analysis skills, time management skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and training skills.

Must remain flexibility and be able to be involved in and prioritize multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.

Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new things; ability to maintain a high level of energy and work independently.

Actively participates in and demonstrates a commitment to the departments/unit's objectives, while meeting or exceeding quality and budget indicators.

Demonstrates understanding of how this position's duties relate to the overall functions of the operations and exhibits a customer/supplier philosophy that emphasizes both internal and external relationships; identifies both customer and supplier needs/expectations and strives to exceed them.

Demonstrates commitment to total quality/management through knowledge of its precepts skillful workplace applications and continuous organizational improvement.

Demonstrates responsibility for ongoing personal development, professional growth, and continuing education. Actively participates in and encourages others to utilize creative and innovative approaches to accomplish tasks.

Ensures that routine and priority tasks are completed within established department time frames.

Demonstrates a clear understanding of and consistently adheres to department and facility policies and procedures (i.e., attends to personal matters on own time).

Attends and actively participates in department and facility meetings and classes, including annual fire, safety, and disaster programs. Follows safety procedures, operates equipment, and performs job related duties in a safe manner which prevents accidents from occurring.

Must demonstrate the ability to plan, direct and delegate to ensure deadlines are met and communications are maintained.

Must be competent in regulatory compliance.


Pay Range: $45.80 - $68.70 / hour

California:

$45.80 - $68.70

Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas:

$41.22 - $61.83

Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah:

$36.44 - $54.96


The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
