Job Description
The HR Risk and Compliance Manager will maintain company-wide HR and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This position will report daily to our Batesville, IN central office.
Essential Functions:

Treat all team members, vendors, and customers with courtesy and respect.
Oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health & safety, and training and development.
Establish business development strategies to minimize risk and assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
Conduct compliance audits, analyze and interpret data/trends, support policy implementation, prepare compliance reports.
Provide written guidance on the appropriate implementation of compliance programs and laws, regulations, rules and standards, through policies and procedures and other documents.
Implementation and maintenance of compensation bench marking, pay grades, pay ranges, pay equity, and market value of positions.
Spearhead safety program and ensure safety compliance.
Identify staffing and recruiting needs. Develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
Recruit for key positions within the company.
Run and review reports and metrics from ADP and applicant tracking system.
Work on special projects, advise on and implement process efficiencies.
Ensure a safe working environment. Maintain situational awareness. Identify and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Follow all company policies and procedures.

Work Environment: While performing the majority of the job duties, the team member is in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking throughout the day.
Travel to store locations as needed.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Human Resource Management.
5+ years of strategic HR compliance experience.
3+ years experience in a leadership role.
3+ years of safety management experience.
HR Certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
