JOB SUMMARY:

Work closely with the regional employment team, recruiters, hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless and positive experience during the recruiting process. Successful candidates are highly organized and efficient who can work independently throughout the recruiting process. This individual must be a creative, high energy, hands on professional who can successfully multitask, has strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Monitor legal compliance with Caesars Entertainment, federal, state and gaming laws & policies.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all applicant and employee information.
  • Ensures corrections are posted to the HRIS system within two (2) business days.
  • Welcomes candidates to the Employment Center at the front counter and demonstrates an upbeat and positive, professional demeanor at all times and provides accurate information and support to applicants.
  • Responsible for the opening and closing at the Employment Center.
  • Responsible for maintaining and ordering office supplies
  • Routinely ensures that the Employment Center lobby, public areas, and offices are well maintained and clean. Will work with Facilities and IT to address any concerns to ensure the proper working condition of all equipment.
  • Verifies rehire eligibility for previous Caesars Entertainment employees
  • Assist with reviewing background and drug test results. Report on pre-employment drug testing results and background to manager. Performs appropriate follow-up action on candidates who have failed or not completed pre-employment drug testing and background.
  • Facilitates and attends department & mandated training sessions.
  • Develops a knowledge base of information needed to successfully perform the job and seek ways to expand upon it.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of office administrative support and/or Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and employment processes.
  • Knowledge of employment documentation and processes required.
  • Literacy and fluency in English required.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish verbally and in writing preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast past, multitasking environment
  • Basic office skills (i.e., typing, filing) required. Strong data entry skills required.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment (i.e., computer, copy machine, telephone, fax) required. Ability to create reports and write business correspondence
  • Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge required.
  • Must have experience working and interfacing with various levels of management
  • Must be able to partner/team with other departments across the organization professionally
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of clients and candidates in professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task accordingly. Ability to maintain focus while handling more than one activity at a time.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, stressful environment
  • Ability to research data entry errors and correct them in a timely manner.
  • Must be willing and able to learn new skills and tasks quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Act as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourage others to do the same.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.

Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke.
