Job Description
SAPA Transmission, in its growth in the U.S.A., is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter with a strong background in Affirmative Action compliance to join our dynamic HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting and sourcing a pool of quality candidates, ensuring that our hiring practices align with federal and state regulations regarding equal employment opportunity. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring labor law and Department of Defense hiring compliance within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create detailed job descriptions.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a qualified candidate pool.
- Conduct full-cycle recruiting, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing, evaluating, and extending job offers.
Affirmative Action Compliance:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Affirmative Action regulations and EEO guidelines.
- Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to federal, state, and FAR/DFAR Affirmative action plan requirements.
- Generate, analyze, and report on affirmative action data as required by FAR/DFAR regulations.
Candidate Engagement:
- Build and nurture relationships with candidates through various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Act as the point of contact for candidates, providing them with information about the hiring process and promoting a positive candidate experience.
Compliance Tracking and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities, including sourcing, outreach, and interview data.
- Prepare and submit necessary Affirmative Action and EEO reports and documentation to regulatory agencies as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a recruiter, ideally with a focus on affirmative action.
- In-depth knowledge of Affirmative Action regulations and EEO practices.
- Excellent understanding of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques.
- Exceptional organizational and data management skills; strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
